The 2014 vintage, despite being one of the most complex in the management of the vineyard in recent years, has reserved pleasant surprises given the quality of the grapes vinified due to a favorable season finale. In fact, the month of September was undoubtedly positive from a climatic point of view, with a good temperature range, a factor that remained stable even in October, contributing significantly to the ripening of the grapes and to the composition of its phenolic framework. This 2014 Barolo Cru Sant'Anna is exceptional, with floral and strawberry aromas and some nuances of lemon leaf. Medium body, flowing tannins and a clean and bright finish. Show intensity and clarity for the vintage. Ready to drink, but you won't make a mistake in deciding to let this bottle rest for a few more years.

Tenuta L’Illuminata Discover Tenuta L’Illuminata in Piedmont and its fine wines in our online store Tenuta L’Illuminata is the first of Guido Folonari's wineries, heir to a historic Italian family that has always been in the world of wine.
