VINOSO.Shop today would like to introduce you to the wines ofAntonella Corda. The winery in Antonella Corda has been awarded as an Emerging Winery by the Gambero Rosso Guide 2019. The Corda family has been working the vineyard for five generations, and this has allowed Antonella to absorb the passion and family experience. He studied agricultural science and technology in Sassari and left Sardegna to specialize in Trentino with a master's degree in the management of the wine system. This laid the foundations for the work that he then decided to undertake back to his homeland, more precisely in Serdiana, mother's country of origin. The company that has a total extension of 40 hectares, is divided between olive groves and arable land, as well as 15 hectares of vineyard, and produces wines of the highest quality. Organic fertilizers, scrupulous respect for biological struggle, sustainable irrigation systems, the use and production of renewable energy sources, togetherwith the high quality of its products, make this winery a boutique winery. The two most representative vineyards of the company are Mitza Manna and Mitza S'ollastu. The Mitza Manna vineyard, a favorite vineyard of Antonella's grandfather, covers 6 hectares and is located at 200 meters above sea level. It is characterized by varieties of native white grapes such as Vermentino and Nuragus. The soil is sandy, clayey and smooth. The strong presence of limestone enhances in these wines their natural freshness, flavor and unmistakable floral and fruity aromas. The Mitza S'ollastu vineyard, is located on the border with the municipality of Ussana is cultivated with native grapes of Vermentino and Cannonau. The elements of the soil, sand, sileme, clay and the strong presence of pebbles, are in perfect balance to give these wines a decisive and genuine character.
