Loving the land means first of all respecting it as a mother. This is the thought that guides Antonella Corda who believes in sustainable cultivation as a tool to integrate human work with the characteristics of the territory, to return it intact to future generations. This awareness translates into the choice of organic fertilizers and biological control actions, as well as sustainable irrigation systems and renewable energy. Modern technologies in the cellar complete the picture and help to preserve and maintain the hard work carried out in the vineyard, to obtain unique, typical and harmonious wines. The Mitza S'ollastu vineyard, is located on the border with the municipality of Ussana, and this is where the grapes of this Cannonau grow. The elements of the soil, sand, sileme, clay and the strong presence of pebbles, are in perfect balance to give these wines a decisive and genuine character. In the cellar, thanks to the use of delicate macerations and the discreet use of un toasted barrels, the finesse of the varietal aromas remains intact. The nose is particularly intense and enveloping, with notes of sweet and ripe red fruit, a suad scent of rose and tips of sweet and spicy spices, such as white pepper. In the mouth the decisive freshness harmonizes with the warm notes and the exceptional softness of the tannins, thus giving a great wine, which you do not tire of drinking. Antonella Corda was awarded as Emerging Winery 2019 by gambero rosso's Vini d'Italia guide and its flagship wine, Cannonau di Sardegna DOC in both 2016 and 2017, was awarded with the Three Glasses.
