TASTING NOTES
The 2015 began with a winter characterized by abundant snowfalls which allowed an excellent water supply to the land. This factor combined with a spring with mild temperatures since the month of February allowed an advance of the vegetative cycle which was then maintained in the continuation of the year. Nebbiolo ripened perfectly, albeit slightly earlier than the average of recent years. Particularly in the second part of the summer, the climate favored an excellent accumulation of polyphenols. The excellent quality of the tannins should guarantee elegant and long-lived structured wines and should be positively on the stability of color over time. Attractive and spicy roses, tar aromas and dried wild herbs create a complex and attractive young Barolo Sant'Anna. On the palate it has a luscious core with sweetly ripe tannins that envelop juicy and fresh flavors of red cherry. To drink or to keep according to personal taste.
