TASTING NOTES
A complex and attractive red, rich in spices, sweet notes of rose, hay and tar. In the mouth its tannins are sweet and the cherry on the palate is juicy and fresh. The toasted note for this Barolo Riserva Cru Sant'Anna 2015 is enveloping and intriguing, given by the 24 months of aging more than its brother Barolo Cru Sant'Anna 2015. Barolo wine and its Riserva find the right combination with dishes such as roasts red meat, braised meats, game, game, truffled foods, hard and aged cheeses. Like all great red wines, it can also be classified as a meditation wine. It is an essential ingredient of braised meat and risotto al Barolo, typical recipes of Piedmontese cuisine. A typically winter wine that takes time: time to mature, time to open the bottle, time to prepare dinner and time to be able to appreciate it at the table. To be opened for Christmas 2022, but it can be safely stored in the cellar to rest for several more years.
