TASTING NOTES
The 2012 season began with a rather particular winter trend, in fact between the end of January and the beginning of February there were very cold days with temperatures well below zero with peaks of even -15 ° C, which was not the case. for decades. Spring was cool and rainy, causing less fruit set and therefore a lower than average number of grapes per cluster. From the end of June, summer was characterized by medium-high temperatures, which favored veraison. The Nebbiolo harvest began at the beginning of October and was able to benefit from a period of significant daily temperature variations that occurred starting from the second ten days of September. What you get after the cellar operations is an impressive 2012 Barolo. On the nose, many flowers and fresh strawberries. Full-bodied, tight and integrated. Structured and concentrated. Racy. Ready to drink from 2019 but with a very long evolutionary perspective.
