TASTING NOTES
The Jeroboam 3 Liters Franciacorta Brut Cabochon 2014 by Monte Rossa is a high-class sparkling wine, symbolizing the vinicultural excellence of the Franciacorta region in Lombardy. This vintage is the result of careful grape selection and an innovative winemaking process that began in 1985, leading to the creation of one of the most appreciated wines from the winery. The Cabochon 2014 is distinguished by an aging period on the lees that lasts over 54 months, a duration that enriches the wine with complexity and finesse, imparting unique aromas and flavors. The harvest is carried out manually in wooden crates, followed by a gentle pressing that selects only the best grapes. Each cru is vinified separately in 250-liter oak barrels. Visually, the wine presents itself with a brilliant golden-yellow color and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers a rich bouquet of aromas ranging from ripe fruits like peach and citrus to toasted notes of bread and yeast. On the palate, the Cabochon is broad and generous, with lively acidity that culminates in a long, harmonious finish characterized by a slight citrus note and an almond-like aftertaste. This Franciacorta is not just a wine; it is a sensory experience that celebrates the craftsmanship and viticultural tradition of Lombardy. Presented in an elegant wooden box, it is ideal for special occasions or as an exclusive gift. The packaging not only protects the wine but also enhances its elegance, making it a perfect choice for those seeking something unique.

The name Franciacorta identifies, since 1200, a small region near the Lake Iseo , in the province of Brescia. The wine produced has always enjoyed a good reputation and the first written testimony dates back to 1570 describing wine with "bubbles" , a product defined by the ancients as lively and bubbly. Today, the word Franciacorta no longer identifies only the territory but also the wine ( the noble Italian DOCG «bollicine» ) and the Metodo Classico (refermentation in the bottle with minimum aging of 25 months after the harvest). Born in 1987 from an intuition of Emanuele Rabotti , Cabochon soon became one of the most important symbols of the company. Refinement, intensity, elegance and an endless perlage: this is Cabochon, the most prestigious Franciacorta of Monte Rossa. Cabochon, so structured, rich and intense, is one of the spearheads in the prized territory of Franciacorta.
