TASTING NOTES
The 2019 harvest in the AOP Saint-Joseph was a success with favourable climatic conditions allowing the grapes to develop optimally. The vineyards used to produce Parcelle de Jean 2019 Aop Saint Joseph by Jeannine Boutin are between 40 and 60 years old and are trained in the traditional en gobelet style. The grapes are harvested by hand when fully ripe and undergo fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine matures for 14 months in 500 litre oak casks and concrete vats, expressing succulent notes of black cherry and sweet spices, with a solid structure and fleshy character. It has the potential to age for up to eight years, offering a rich and complex sensory experience.
