Alta Langa DOCG Le Rapide Extra Brut Magnum Astucciato 2021 di Roberto Garbarino is a highly elegant and refined traditional method sparkling wine, made from a cuvée of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. The grapes come from vineyards located around 480 metres above sea level on calcareous marl soils with some sandy veins, perfectly expressing the distinctive qualities of the Alta Langa terroir. The wine shows a bright straw yellow colour with persistent and fine perlage. On the nose, it reveals intense and complex aromas of ripe white fruits and subtle floral notes, including apple, jasmine, and hints of acacia honey with typical bread crust nuances from extended ageing on lees. On the palate, it impresses with freshness and fine bubbles, a dry but balanced structure, and a long creamy finish that highlights the authentic expression of both the territory and grape varieties. The extra brut dosage accentuates the clean and precise taste, making it ideal for refined aperitifs, fish dishes, and white meats. The magnum bottle with presentation box adds prestige, perfect for special occasions or gifts.
