TASTING NOTES
"Misco" is the ancient name of the Musone, the river towards which the Tavignano vineyards descend, but it is also the "Selection" of musts (flower must), the product in which the Company pays the greatest care both in the harvest, with the selection of the grapes and manual harvesting in boxes, both in the mashing phase with the soft pressing of the whole grapes. This particular attention, which is addressed to the grapes both in the harvesting phase and in the processing, has the aim of obtaining products with particular finesse, typicality and long duration. The Misco is in fact a Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore made with grapes from a single vineyard, which is the most prized parcel of Verdicchio on the estate. It is a wine of great personality and elegance, at the sight it is straw yellow, bright and shiny. The nose recalls ripe fruit, sweet almond, acacia flowers, star anise, with citrus hints. Long persistent flavor with sapid and mineral notes, it goes perfectly with great seafood dishes, medium-aged cheeses and white meats. To drink immediately but also to be kept in the cellar for over ten years.
