TASTING NOTES
The clay-limestone soil is well exposed to the south and the vineyard management is rigorous and careful, so much so that no herbicides or insecticides have been used for ten years. This helps to obtain healthy, well-ripened grapes that are harvested manually, sorting directly in the vineyard. The base wines are fermented in thermoregulated steel tanks and then aged in medium toasted barriques. Blending is done before bottling, and wines from the 2017 harvest were used to make this bottle. After three years of ageing on the lees, disgorgement took place in October 2022, and now this Cuvée Prestige, complex on the nose and structured in the mouth, is ready to accompany a wide variety of dishes, from shellfish to game birds. CRUCIFIX PÈRE & FILS cultivates its vines with the utmost respect for its terroir. Durable Viticulture (V.D.C.) and High Environmental Value (H.E.V.) are the continuation of their commitment and family values handed down over five generations.
The three-litre bottle is perfect for a dinner party with many friends, a birthday party or an anniversary. Thanks to its wooden box, it is also a perfect gift.
