TASTING NOTES
The Chardonnay grapes used for this wine come mainly from two different areas: the Côte d'Or, in particular the Côte de Beaune and Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, chosen for their freshness, elegance and minerality, and the more prestigious areas of Mâconnais, chosen for their fruity and rounded aromatic profile. 65% of the wines come from the Côte d'Or and have been produced in the style of the great white Burgundies, with careful ageing in barriques and periodic bâtonnage to emphasise depth, structure and elegance. The remaining 35% of the wines come from the Mâconnais, where they have been carefully vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and fruity notes. In the glass, the wine has a beautiful pale gold colour, with vibrant aromas of citrus, lemon and orange blossom, enhanced by notes of barley candy and white chocolate. The palate is fresh and crisp, with flavours of melted butter, frangipane cream and hazelnut.
