TASTING NOTES
En Chanzeux Coteaux Champegnois Rouge is made from old Pinot Noir vines (70 years old) from the 'En Chanzeux' parcel in the renowned village of Les Riceys (Côte des Bar), facing south and in organic conversion. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in thermoregulated oak barrels. The wine is macerated for at least two weeks with 20% whole bunches. Malolactic fermentation takes place in 300 l capacity Ardennes oak barrels. After racking, the wine matures in wood for at least 18 months. The wine has a ruby red colour with fascinating depth. The nose is characterised by fresh notes of red fruit, with floral elements such as rose and aromatic coniferous notes. In the mouth it is delicate, elegant and has a juicy fruit sensation, perfectly harmonising black cherry, flowers and tobacco. The wine is elegant, fresh, juicy and very pleasant.
