TASTING NOTES
The harvest of this Rosso di Montalcino Lo Scorno 2020 began in the first ten days of October. The grapes underwent a cold pre-maceration for two days at 10 ° C. Fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature is followed by maceration on the skins for about 10 days. The malolactic fermentation takes place in steel, concrete and wood vats. 10 months of aging in barrique and 4 months in bottle offer us a wine with a ruby red color; on the nose the perfume is clear and intense. Reminiscent of cherries in alcohol, enriched with spicy notes. On the palate it has a good structure, full, balanced, with silky tannins. Good persistence that refers to the first olfactory notes.
