Magnificat is a "Single Vineyard" from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It matures for a long time in small French woods and is bottled unfiltered. The color is a beautiful ruby red, bright to the eye. The nose opens on fruity hints of strawberries and raspberries, then followed by memories of cocoa, Mediterranean scrub, mint and rhubarb. Vegetable nuances complete the olfactory picture. The palate develops in a juicy and vibrant way, giving freshness, minerality and well-worked tannins. Long persistence and balsamic closure. To be combined with preparations based on red meat, game or game, it is to be tried as an accompaniment to wild boar stew with blueberries. It was the wine that symbolized the productive turning point of the Drei Donà estate and still today a great international translator of the terroir of Romagna.

The Tenuta La Palazza was built between the cities of Forlì and Predappio in a strategic position between the valleys of the Montone and Rabbi rivers, around one of the watchtowers that Caterina Sforza ordered to build to defend her possessions. The estate, owned by the Counts Drei Donà since 1923, has always been dedicated to the production of Sangiovese grapes. The company underwent a radical transformation in 1979, when Claudio Drei Donà took over the management, together with his son Enrico. Of the 23 hectares cultivated under organic farming, the majority is dedicated to the Sangiovese vineyards from which the classic Predappio Doc "Notturno" and the Riserva "Vigna del Pruno ” are produced. The futurist vision of Count Claudio also gave birth to "Il Tornese" , the first great white wine from international grapes in Romagna and the red "Magnificat" , a "single vineyard" from the first Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard planted in this region. The particular names of the wines deserve a mention: in fact, they were baptized with the names of the horses of the small family breeding farm.
