TASTING NOTES
For over three decades, Kendall-Jackson has worked tirelessly to produce only the best wines from grapes grown in the cool climate of California's coastal vineyards. The search for the perfect varietal to plant in each zoned parcel and the subsequent separate vinification through to blending is meticulous and difficult work, but always yields excellent results year after year; in fact, Kendall Jackson is renowned for consistently producing rich, distinctive and balanced wines. To further round off and sweeten the aromas and add complexity to this Sauvignon Blanc, 15% of this wine is fermented in American oak barrels. Lake County, the heart of the blend with its 83%, brings floral and citrus notes as well as flavours of melon, pineapple and grapefruit. Mendocino County, with 8% of the grapes, adds honeysuckle aromas. The South Coast (5% Monterey County grapes, 2% San Luis Obispo County grapes and 2% Santa Barbara County grapes) adds minerality and fig tones to this wine. With aromas of white flowers, Bartlett pear, honeysuckle and apricot, this refreshing and juicy Sauvignon Blanc 2022 has bright acidity and minerality. Tangerine, guava and white peach flavours finish with a touch of quince and honeycomb.
