TASTING NOTES
This wine is produced from indigenous grapes that reveal all the hidden aromas and strength of each grape. The 2021 grape harvest in Serdiana was good thanks to favourable weather during the growing season of the grapes. However, production was slightly lower than in previous years due to the drought. The grapes harvested in the last ten days of September were treated with care and placed manually in boxes. The 2021 vintage boasts a complex bouquet reminiscent of lime zest, pear skins, freshly pressed olive oil, raw almonds and crushed stones. The palate is dense, structured and waxy, with a full body and a long, creamy finish. Texture and viscosity, with lively acidity. Unfiltered and vinified in amphora, this wine is a testament to the patience of winegrowers who know how to wait. Respect for nature and its time can yield special and extraordinary results, and this wine is proof of that. Antonella Corda began working with the family's 15 hectares (37 acres) of vines and 12 hectares (30 acres) of olive trees in 2010 and in 2016 produced the first bottled wine. In July 2021, the winery successfully completed the conversion process to organic certification, which was granted in October of the same year.

The Azienda Agricola Antonella Corda is situated in Serdiana, a few kilometers from Cagliari, in Sardinia. The area, historically suited to agriculture, is rich in olive trees, vineyards and cereal fields. An agronomist specialized in wine management, Antonella Corda, inherited the family vineyards in 2010 and took over the reins of the company, transforming it well into a "boutique winery". Innovation and tradition come together perfectly in this excellent winemaking reality capable of reflecting the identity of this interesting area of Sardinia. Today, there are 40 hectares in total, 15 of which are vineyards, 12 are olive groves and the remaining arable land. Love for the land and respect for tradition: these are Antonella Corda's values that are found in the wines produced, all characterized by genuine refinement. The management of the wine fields is based on integrated pest management, organic fertilization and sustainable irrigation. There are two cultivated vineyards: Mitza Manna and Mitza S’ollastu .
