TASTING NOTES
Famous since the 13th century, the South Tyrolean Traminer Aromatico is now known throughout the world. It is produced from grapes cultivated on steep slopes at high altitudes in the village of Tramin, from which it also takes its name. Intense fruity and floral aromas with a spicy note determine its aromaticity. The 2023 harvest in South Tyrol was affected by extreme climatic conditions. However, despite the challenges, the white wines of the 2023 vintage are positively distinguished from those of the previous year. They are fresh, bright, fruity and light, testifying to the skill and dedication of the winegrowers. The grapes reached perfect ripeness in September, thanks to the difference in temperature between day and night. This resulted in a truly exceptional vintage. After maceration and soft pressing, the wine was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Before being bottled and aged, the wine matured for about four months in stainless steel.
