TASTING NOTES
This exquisite wine is produced under strict conditions and continuous monitoring, ensuring the highest quality. Get ready to experience the amazing taste of Crémant d'Alsace! The grapes undergo careful selection to ensure they are free of impurities before being placed in the press using the 'Champenoise method'. The first traditional fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, followed by the second fermentation in the bottles. Finally, the 'prise de mousse' process is carried out, resulting in a sparkling wine that is sure to impress. Follow the natural process with care to ensure the perfect result in every bottle! After that, let it age for at least 18 months sur lie, culminating in remuage and final disgorgement. Did you know that Auxerrois, a white grape that thrives in cold climates, is most commonly found in Alsace, followed by Luxembourg and Germany? Recent DNA studies even suggest that it is a cross of the same lineage as Chardonnay! Wow! Gustave Lorentz's Crémant is absolutely amazing! The skillful selection of different grape varieties has resulted in a perfectly balanced and fresh wine that is just perfect for aperitifs and cocktails. The wine has a beautiful pale yellow and clear colour with fine and persistent bubbles that just dance on your tongue. The nose is filled with fine and delicate aromas of sliced green apples, lemons, blanched almonds, and pie crust that just make your mouth water. The wine has a frank attack, crisp and bright with fine bubbles and a medium body that just leaves you wanting more. It is nicely dry and biscuity, making it the perfect choice for any occasion!
