Alsace is a region located in the north-eastern extremity of France, where excellent quality white wine reigns supreme. Pinot Noir, chosen for almost all sparkling wines produced with the classic Crémant d'Alsace method, is the only red grape typical of Alsace and is used to produce Rosé d'Alsace . Alsatian wines have some peculiarities due to two fundamental factors: extraordinary climate and ideal soil conformation. On the other hand, in the French region the sun shines for many hours and the rains are particularly scarce. Finally, Alsace is enriched by the variety of soils present, whose sediments significantly increase the quality of Alsatian wines.
