TASTING NOTES
Wide, intense, fragrant and non-greasy, it collects all the aromas of the Mediterranean in the glass. Zagare, lemon, sage and capers. Vibrant acidity is balanced by warm and soft notes, while the finish is very fresh thanks to a salty finish. It pairs well with fish first courses and shellfish. Excellent as an aperitif. Antonella Corda is a Sardinian wine producer with a history. His mother Maria is the daughter of Antonio Argiolas, who did a lot to bring wine to Sardinia, a beautiful Italian island. The famous winemaker died at the age of 104 and undoubtedly inspired his granddaughter to study agronomy. He also left her two of his finest vineyards just north of Cagliari. Antonella Corda began working with the family's 15 hectares (37 acres) of vines and 12 hectares (30 acres) of olive trees in 2010 and in 2016 they produced their own bottled wine. The constant wind from the sea is a very important factor and has an important influence on the quality of the wine. Antonella Corda was awarded as an Emerging Winery 2019 by the Gambero Rosso guide Vini d’Italia. In July 2021 the company will also conclude the conversion process to organic, and will therefore be certified.

Antonella Corda Discover Antonella Corda Wine Farm in Sardinia and its fine wines in our online store The Azienda Agricola Antonella Corda is situated in Serdiana, a few kilometers from Cagliari, in Sardinia. The area, historically suited to agriculture, is rich in olive trees, vineyards and cereal fields. An agronomist specialized in wine management, Antonella Corda, inherited the family vineyards in 2010 and took over the reins of the company, transforming it well into a "boutique winery". Innovation and tradition come together perfectly in this excellent winemaking reality capable of reflecting the identity of this interesting area of Sardinia. Today, there are 40 hectares in total, 15 of which are vineyards, 12 are olive groves and the remaining arable land.
