TASTING NOTES
A complex floral bouquet is combined with a marked fruity and mineral note, combined with an intense body with golden reflections. The tannin smoothed by the clay amphoras and the decisive acidity compete for the scene with every sip. A wine vinified in amphora is the proven proof of the patience of winemakers who know how to wait. Respect for nature and its times can give particular and extraordinary results, and this wine is the proof of this. Antonella Corda began working with the family's 15 hectares (37 acres) of vines and 12 hectares (30 acres) of olive trees in 2010 and 2016 produced its own bottled wine. The constant wind from the sea is a key factor and has an important influence on the quality of the wine. Antonella Corda was awarded as Emerging Winery 2019 by gambero rosso's Guide Vini d'Italia and its flagship wine, Cannonau di Sardegna DOC in both 2016 and 2017, was awarded with the Three Glasses. In 2018 with 17/20 from Vinum and now with 2019 with 17.5/20 from Jacins Robinson, a sign that the product is also growing internationally, and is recognized as excellent by the most influential critics worldwide. In July 2021 the company will also conclude the conversion process to Organic, and will therefore be certified.
