TASTING NOTES
The union of vines cultivated with care and precision on a terroir recognized as one of the best in Provence, gives a remarkable structure to this Rosé Cuvée La Réserve des Bertrands. All the minerality of the light, sandy and arenaceous soils is expressed in this unique rosé. The blend of Cinsault and Grenache provides a beautiful structure, combining delicacy and freshness. The Sirah gives a warmer and brighter pink tone and fruity aromas. The nose offers an aromatic palette rich in white fruits such as pear and peach with more exotic notes. Soft and silky on the palate, it expresses the typical elegance of the Château des Bertrands. In the mouth opens a subtle flavor with a delicate mineral structure and a salty finish. It pairs deliciously with gravlax or also called marinated salmon, goat cheese wraps and bacon or grilled fish. At the restaurant Le Jardin de Berne, this wine accompanies a dessert signed by Pastry Chef Eric Raynal that combines raspberries and peppers.

Château des Bertrands

Château des Bertrands Discover Château des Bertrands in Provence and its fine wines in our online store Château des Bertrands is in Provence, within the Plaine des Maures natural reserve. The vineyards enjoy the typical Mediterranean climate and soils formed by pink sandstone and sand. The goal is to extract the essence of the terroir "Notre-Dame-des-Anges" , recognized as one of the most renowned soils in all of Provence. The wines are made from grapes grown in the 80 hectares of vineyards that are surrounding the winery. The production, in addition to rosé wine , includes fine white and red wines . Furthermore, the biological conversion has been underway since 2018. Very interesting is the coat of arms of Château des Bertrands which contains all the characterizing elements of the property, including the upside-down silver horseshoe that refers to the estate's stable.
