LANGHE ROSATO DOC
Denominazione di Origine Controllata
GRAPE VARIETY
Pinot Nero 100%
TASTING NOTES
Right under the cellar, in the municipality of Neviglie, in the heart of langhe, from a single vineyard facing east, there is 1 hectare of pinot noir, with very low yields. Less than 50 quintals of very healthy and perfectly ripe grapes that are harvested by hand to obtain this rosé wine which, thanks to the skin maceration for about 10 hours, obtains this intense pinkish color. Moreover, due to the perfect exposure that let the grapes benefit from the morning sun thus avoiding burns, and to the temperature variations that increase the production of aromas in the fruit, in the glass we find notes of strawberry with a very clear citrus base, among which stand out pink grapefruit, lemon and orange flowers. The grapes are fermented in steel tanks at a low temperature (13 °c) and refine, also in steel tanks, for about 7 months. Grisù is a spring / summer wine, a valid alternative for those who don't like bubbly wines. Suitable as an aperitif or paired with first courses and fish-based dishes. In the mouth it is citrusy, persistent and savory, with an interesting acidity on the finish, it is a very pleasant and fresh wine.
