GRAPE VARIETY
Weissburgunder Pinot Bianco 100%
TASTING NOTES
Pinot Bianco, despite being an international grape variety, was introduced in South Tyrol in 1850 by the Archduke John of Austria, and since then it become a typical grape of the region. What is obtained from vineyards located at high altitude characterized by strong temperature variations between day and night, is an elegant wine, with a pleasant and refreshing taste and consistent acidity. The harvest of this Pinot Bianco 2021 Winzerberg began in mid-September, with the selection of the grapes directly in the vineyard. After a soft pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature and refines in steel tanks to keep the varietal aromas unaltered. The color is straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose is fruity with aromas of yellow apple, pear, peach and light notes of pineapple. The taste is fresh, with a nice finish on the palate. Perfect as an aperitif, with asparagus, fish and shellfish dishes such as spaghetti with seafood or vegetarian dishes.
