Proseccco

Discover the wines of the Prosecco production area in our Vinoso online store.

The production area of Prosecco DOC covers the north-eastern portion of the Italian territory. More precisely, the territories concerned fall within the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and in most of the Veneto (with the exception of the province of Verona). The grape used to produce Prosecco DOC is Glera, a white grape variety typical of this area since the time of the Roman Empire. The characteristics of the soil and the favorable climate make it possible to produce a sparkling wine with a low alcohol content and easily recognizable by consumers. The three types of Prosecco are Spumante , Frizzante and Tranquillo , which differ in some nuances in their organoleptic characteristics. The special mentions Prosecco Doc Treviso and Prosecco Doc Trieste can only be obtained when all the phases of harvesting, production and bottling take place in the provinces concerned. The bright color, the scent with floral and fruity notes and the fresh taste on the palate distinguish this wine that is the symbol of the Italian aperitif. In the online wine shop VINOSO.Shop, a corner dedicated to Prosecco DOC could not be missing.
