TASTING NOTES
The grapes, whipped by the wind that constantly blows on these vineyards, were harvested manually, in boxes in the first ten days of September. The wine obtained was aged on lienites for 6 months, thus giving us a full, intense, fragrant and non-fatty wine that collects all the aromas of the Mediterranean in the glass. Aromas of grapefruits, green pears, melons and wild herbs. Salty undertones, too. Medium to full body with bright acidity and a refreshing zesty touch. It goes well with fish first courses and shellfish. Excellent as an aperitif. Antonella Corda is a Sardinian wine producer with a history. His mother Maria is the daughter of Antonio Argiolas, who did a lot to bring wine to Sardinia, a beautiful Italian island. The famous winemaker died at the age of 104 and undoubtedly inspired his granddaughter to study agronomy. He also left her two of his finest vineyards just north of Cagliari. Antonella Corda began working with the family's 15 hectares (37 acres) of vines and 12 hectares (30 acres) of olive trees in 2010 and in 2016 they produced their own bottled wine. In July 2021 the company successfully completed the conversion process to Organic, and is therefore certified.
