In the late 1930s, Paul Misset, Philippe Cheron's grandfather, bought some vineyards in the municipalities vougeot and nuits saint georges. Not being a winegrower, he entrusted the management to the winegrowers of Vosne-Romanée. Starting from these original parcels, Paul Misset's two nephews, two generations later, created a domain that now covers 5 hectares and includes the names Nuits Saint Georges, Vosne Romanée, Chambolle Musigny and Clos de Vougeot.

Since 2011 the domaine is managed by Philippe Cheron who took over the family estate after working as technical director at Domaine Belland in Santenay and after important experiences in winemaking in the Rhône valley and then in Borgogna.
