At the end of the Thirties the Philippe Cheron's grandfather bought some vineyards in the municipalities Vougeot and Nuits Saint Georges and entrusted their management to the winemakers of Vosne-Romanée. The following two generations created a domaine which today consists of 5 hectares and includes the appellations Nuits Saint Georges, Vosne Romanée, Chambolle Musigny and Clos de Vougeot. Since 2011 Philippe Cheron has been managing the estate taken over, after having worked as technical director at the Domaine Belland in Santenay and after important experiences in winemaking in Germany and France.
