TASTING NOTES
The Purest Expression of an Exceptional Terroir The combination of grape varieties, cultivated with care and precision on a terroir recognized in Provence, offers a remarkable structure to this cuvée. All the minerality of light, sandy and sandstone soils is expressed in this unique rosé. The blend of Cinsault and Grenache provides a nice structure, combining delicacy and freshness. Its color is delicate pale pink, and the nose offers an aromatic palette rich in white fruits such as pear and peach, followed by more exotic notes. Soft and silky on the palate, it expresses Château des Bertrands’ signature elegance. The wine’s flavor then opens up onto a subtle sapidity with a delicate mineral structure and saline finish. Its irrefutable presence pairs deliciously with homemade salmon gravlax, goat cheese and Speck involtini, or grilled fish. At Le Jardin de Berne restaurant , this wine accompanies a signature dessert by Pastry Chef Eric Raynal which combines raspberries and peppers.

Château des Bertrands

Château des Bertrands Discover Château des Bertrands in Provence and its fine wines in our online store Château des Bertrands is in Provence, within the Plaine des Maures natural reserve. The vineyards enjoy the typical Mediterranean climate and soils formed by pink sandstone and sand. The goal is to extract the essence of the terroir "Notre-Dame-des-Anges" , recognized as one of the most renowned soils in all of Provence. The wines are made from grapes grown in the 80 hectares of vineyards that are surrounding the winery. The production, in addition to rosé wine , includes fine white and red wines . Furthermore, the biological conversion has been underway since 2018. Very interesting is the coat of arms of Château des Bertrands which contains all the characterizing elements of the property, including the upside-down silver horseshoe that refers to the estate's stable.
