TASTING NOTES
For over three decades, Kendall-Jackson has remained relentlessly committed to making only the finest wines from grapes grown in the cool climate of California's coastal vineyards. The search for the prefect grape variety to be planted in each zoned land and the subsequent separate vinification, up to the cutting stage, is a meticulous and difficult job, but which always brings excellent results, year after year; in fact Kendall Jackson is renowned for always producing rich, distinctive and balanced wines. To round off and further sweeten the aromas and make this Sauvignon Blanc more complex, 18% of this wine is fermented in American oak barrels. The vineyards of Lake County, the heart of this wine, bring floral and citrus notes as well as a distinctive taste of melon, pineapple and grapefruit. Mendocino County adds honeysuckle, and Sonoma County lends a hint of ripe pear. A touch of Semillon completes the mouthfeel and delivers the delicious fig notes.
