TASTING NOTES
Chiaretto identifies the particular type of rosé wine produced by Garda Lake. On the Brescia side of the Benaco, it is made through the assembly of four different red grape varieties: Groppello, Barbera, Marzeand Sangiovesmino e, which together make it possible to obtain an elegant and balanced wine. Shiny pale pink color, reminiscent of rose petals, sometimes with violet reflections. At the nose, the floral notes of rose combine in a harmonious bouquet with those of wild strawberries and small red fruits, with light hints of powder. The delicacy of the nose is reconfirmed in the mouth, with a balance enhanced by the flavor, which cannot be missing in a Garda Lake wine. Consumed young, starting from the months of January and February following the harvest, it is appreciated for its sometimes vinous character, it is ideal paired with grilled fish, roasted white meats and semi-mature cheeses from Garda Lake. It is recommended to be serve chilled at a temperature of 10° Celsius degrees.

Antica Casa Visconti

Antica Casa Visconti Discover the Antica Casa Visconti on Lake Garda and its fine wines in our online store The Visconti family has its roots on Lake Garda for about a century. From the very beginning, they established a close link with the territory, believing in Turbiana vine potential, a native grape already growing in the area even before Lugana . The passion of the Visconti family let the spread of this vine throughout the southern area of Benaco, between Lombardy and Veneto, until it became the most important white berried grape of these territories. The production of Lugana wine is linked to the history of the Visconti family, so much that this name strongly recalls the origin of this white wine. In particular, the Lugana Visconti is one of the most important symbols of the city of Desenzano del Garda. It is proposed with pride and affection by most of the historic places in the city center. In the early 2000s, after decades of activity in the wine sector, the Visconti decided to direct their entrepreneurial activity towards other paths, giving it as an inheritance to another historical family that has always dedicated itself to viticulture, the Formentini family.
