TASTING NOTES
This Riesling Kabinett 2021 is opulent, rich and fruity on the nose, with typical aromas of white peach, apricot, quince, white flowers and honeysuckle. The palate is round and smooth, with mouthwatering acidity and pleasant sweetness. The finish is fruity and rich. It sounds like a world-famous Wehlener Sonnenuhr wine from the Mosel, thanks to the sparkling interplay between fruit and acidity, and without the perception of the alcohol part. The 2021 vintage was a year with abundant rainfall and significantly cooler than the previous one. The harvest was postponed, in fact the grapes were picked in late October, and benefited from the beautiful early autumn days that allowed the grapes to reach the optimal sugar level as well as a very elegant aromatic development. Rich and seductive, this wine is perfect when paired with decidedly aromatic or spicy dishes, but it is also ideal for tasting on its own.
